Update Charity Water after 11 Days
I've just received this newsletter with some interesting figures :-)***Thanks so much for launching a campaign on mycharity: water.You’re a part of something new and incredible.Here’s what’s happened in the 11 days since the site launched in Beta last Tuesday.- 3,335 members have joined.
- 780 fundraising campaigns have been launched
- $116,631 has been raised through 1,737 donations ($67 average donation)
- 23 water projects funded.
- 5,831 people will get clean drinking water.

On our side, our campaign is still in progress. I thrilled to say that more than 2 800$ have been raised so far that means 140 people served. Can you believe 140 people will have access to clean water for the next 20 years thanks to the French Geek Campaign and all the donations we've done ? That's really cool !
The payment process is still not working for everyone but I'm working closely with the Charity:Water team to try to fix it as soon as possible. You can help us by sending me screenshots of the payment form before submitting the payment (please hide your card number or replace some digits with stars before sending :-)).
